But comparisons tend to persist though officials are slowly getting the message across that touch is not rugby union.

2nd PJ Five Mixed Touch Rugby

THEY did not play on the best pitch condition as Padang Utama in Petaling Jaya muddy pitch was drying up from the downpour. But, it did not matter at all to the players that took part in the second edition of PJ Five Mixed Touch Rugby, recently.
All they wanted was to have a good run and throw the ball around.
It drew participation of 10 teams – Olde Tavern, Telawi, Bucks Blue, Bucks White, Green Dragons, KL Barbarians, Old Farts, KL Japanese, Fitness First and Sunway.

SCORING financial support was a stumbling block to get the second edition of PJ Five Mixed Touch Rugby Tournament in the running.

However, it will get underway on Saturday with the event scheduled from 9am to 3pm at Padang Utara in Petaling Jaya.
