Saturday Full House At Rimba Kiara

The weather was hot and humid, but it didn't stop around 45 touch players, seniors, junior's and beginners to have a wonderful run last Saturday. Newcomer Harry had a couple of tricks up his sleeve and it was also great to see Ty The runaway Train and Dave Nuku back on the pitch. Skinny Wan had a couple of good runs, but had a great fall and I think sampled some of the tasty organic offerings of Rimba Kiara - he stopped running straight after that. The other Wan - not so skinny one, made a great return to the pitch still fit as ever. Jan had a couple of awesome intercepts but lost some steam after that - to much food on flights we think.

On the other pitch, Rodderick weaves his magic with the kids against the beginners like the pied piper leading the kids to the try line. Those arriving early could see that half the pitch was used for an event. As we grow in numbers, and also uncertainties around pitch being used by other events, I am forced to think of alternatives which may involve payment but will yield us peace if mind and comfort of a flat and even grass field. Several options are in the cards, I will update you all later when something materializes.

Till then, see you all this Saturday at Rimba 4pm.
