Rock and Roll the ball

In case any of you were wondering why was the write up yesterday referring to the last 2 weeks, it was because I just realized yesterday that I haven't sent the write up for the previous week. So there you go.

I also just want to take the opportunity to inform you of two things.

1. The Malaysia selections for 2019 world cup is happening this Saturday at Putrajaya, so if you are interested, please check out our FB or go to FIT website. I will not be able to come down to Rimba Kiara on time so will pass the cones to someone later today at ISKL.

2. If you love some blues and rock and roll, head down to Star Cafe this Saturday, our in house rock start, astronaut, pirate will be performing. BTW, Saturday touch is on as usual, I do expect slightly reduced numbers due to the Malaysian selections.

Sublime playing conditions and awesome turn up from adults and kids alike. We had one pitch for the adults and one mini one for kids and beginners. We did have to rotate the 4 teams with side away for some time. Several awesome intercepts from Bryan and awesome passes from Mr Nuku. Dom turned up with his customary farewell flaps meant to woo Paul who is in KL in his last few days here in Malaysia. See pic.

Ty the runaway Train was much affected with this pageantry, you could see he was out of sorts, offside and forward passes all day. Great to see returning faces, Lobby, Jilek and Jason without a hangover. Not sure about small Joe who missed a bread basket pass at the corner which would have made an awesome try.

Anyways, good effort from our youth contingent who put a good fight with USA to loose in a highly battled finals.

See you all this Saturday same time and place.
