Pride and Prejudice

We have a special treat this time from our fellow Scott, but i think deep inside he is more Malaysian than Scottish. Please read till the end specifically about playing for the world cup. A brief report this week as I turned up pretty late...easing myself back to fitness after a long injury.....so I missed the best of the touch....well I really hope I did! Decent weather and reasonable turnout, with enough for 3 teams rotating on one field....Chang beer Jan, French Frank and Santiago Seb full of running as always and Bryan exuberant as ever...A full compliment of Rodericks on the field working well as a unit for the most part ...it won't be long until young Tommy is out running Roddy senior......and good to see our old eldest statement, Sir Gavin for his last pre-retirement run....you will all be glad to hear he will still be around quite a bit and won't be abandoning us post retirement...unlike that Whitelaw bloke!! Despite Fendi's absence, plenty of sub standard passing on view.....myself and Miguel the main culprits, we both tried to blame this on injury...it was the best excuse either of us could come up with...( was Miguel's yet another Rimba injury??)

A limited but very pleasant Pinnacle with many of the old guard away or otherwise engaged. I understand we still need a few more over 40s to allow a Malaysian seniors team to be entered into the world cup next year. There is one last chance to sign up, this coming Saturday in Putrajaya....and if you don't sign up now you will not play.....if you do sign up and a team is not entered, you will get your deposit back...so what is there to lose?? See y-all next week! Cheers, Grant
