What started out as an idea by a few people from the Saturday touch, bare fruit and become a large following. Ben Ting, Marcus, Wei, Jake, Jenna and myself. Yesterday, We played in four fields, and if my mathematical assessment is correct, we had close to 55 people.
Whilst some of them from ISKL, the sheer number was great to watch.
Meanwhile, Saturday touch remains a niche market for the social bunch and the kids off course. We had three teams rotating. Some good level of playing with our volunteer refs ensuring the player remain honest.
Not much to report for Saturday, but I did hear people saying that the games got very competitive with the injection of the world cup excitement from the over 40s team (Seb, Dave O, Grunt and Brett).
We look forward to see more of this this weekend.
