The Ultimate touch tournament at Saint John institution held last week, saw at least 5 teams represented by mostly Tuesday touch players. The Tuesday touch team, (Jake, Jenna, Ben Ting, Wei and Myself) was very pleased to see that Tuesday TOUCH has become a breeding ground of players for the country's touch players and we hope to continue to inspire more players to join us.
The most notable team was the Ghimau Tua, which were made of by some of the founding members of touch in KL (Ben and Jake). They made it to the finals after beating the Scorpions to play against CheezyWolfs which consisted of by a few national players. Congrats to both teams for the finals. Meanwhile, Saturday touch continued as usual, with two teams and subs.
We had less players as most of them were at St. Johns for the tournament. We played 5 on 5, which was actually well suited with the size of Rimba Kiara.
Dave O, have the cones for this Saturday, I will still be away on vacation and thanks again to all who helped out with cones, collections and balls whilst I was away (for Saturday and Tuesday touch).
I would also like to remind you all that there is another tournament on 29th Dec at Bangi, which is our final tournament of the year. Please check out FB for details.
